Family Fun Day 2021

 Hi bloggers

Last Friday at my school we had a family fun day. At the family fun day there were 4 rotations in our different house groups that are Ruru, Kea, Tui and Pukeko. I am in Ruru. The rotations are, Inflatable water slide and dry bouncy castle (Little), water slide on the grass and the school pool, Wheel zones and bake sale and Bouncy castle obstacle course. My favourite was probably the bouncy castles (wet and dry) and pool and water slide. At the bake sale I got three things, a cookie, a rice crispy thing and I can't remember the other. The first thing Ruru did was wheels and then pool/water slide and then obstacle course and then lucky last the waterslide inflatable.  Some of the things in the obstacle course was these tunnel things, a climbing wall and a big slide at the end. We raced the other people in our house group. The wheels you could on the bikes and skateboards and scooters and roller blades etc. Over all I think it was the best day ever! Lockdown Earthquake

Namaste

Hi bloggers as you might know last Friday the 5 of March (in lockdown) there were three earthquakes. . All the phones were going off with the earthquake warning and there were updates on the news. Most of the earthquakes were in the east coast of the North Island. Our classes all came together to discuss the things that you need in a pack if you have to evacuate. So you can grab it and run. Does your family have a pack if you have to evacuate? Like I said my classes came and we brainstormed some ideas for in an emergency kit. some of the essentials in emergency kit are torches with batteries, food, water (lots of it) a first aid kit and some blankets. All the people had to evacuate to high ground and get away from the water. One of my teachers was lucky she was up on high ground in Waipu helping people and letting them use her home. Hope you know what to do now in an emergency. There is a photo below of an idea of a kit.

Lockdown Take 4

Lockdown Take 4

This most recent lockdown I did a video with my brother with inspiration from my friend. We all know covid is the cause of lockdown. For NZ it is our fourth lockdown as you can see in the title. The video I did with my brother was like a trick video kind of like a magic trick. It did take a little while but only three minutes. My brother has an editing app on his phone that he used to make the video one video. My friend made a slightly different type of vid. It is quite short but cool. Anyway all this writing. about it if you want it is down below. Take a look. 👇👇

Also the slideshow I put my work onto is my lockdown creations and like I said it is where I put all my work I did for the different days. We had to add a caption of what we did and if it was had or not also we had to do a link to the piece of work if you could. You might remember something like this from the previous lockdowns. Below you can check it out. ðŸ‘‡

Netball at school 😃😃

Kia Ora readers

Welcome to 2021

For the last two Wednesday's my class has been learning about netball. We learnt the three main netball passes, the bounce pass, the chest pass and the overhead pass. We played some games that helped us practice our netball skills. The games were Infinity tag, In the river on the bank and netball passing relays. Our coaches names were Josina and Olivia. Some of the things we did to warm up our bodies was squats, side shuffles, fast feet, bum kicks and sprints. I also signed up for netball at school because I love it. I think it is one of my favourite sports. I can't wait for more netball.
