ππHowdy Bloggersππ
Today me and my mum and dad all chiped in to make some pani popo. If you don't know what pani popo is it is like a bun. But the differents is there is a glaze of coconut cream and suger and I think there is some flour that goes in there to. Check out the photos I put down below.
Blog you later.
Kia Ora Erana, I LOVE Pani popo! Did you like? It is one of my favorite Samoan dishes my Nana has made! It looks like you could spare some for me too right? I love how you added what Pani popo is because not many people know what it is.
ReplyDeleteYour blog post is fantastic, and don't make me Hungry!ππ
Talofa Erana,
ReplyDeleteThose Pani popo's look really yummy. You are making me so hungry. Did you know that I've never tried Pani popo? I don't know what it tastes like but they look DELICIOUS. I like how you explained what it is because not everyone knows it. I agree with Ruta, it look like you can spare some for me too. It's great to see you spending time with your mum and dad.
Incredible baking, and blog post. It is really cool how you made it. Do you mind giving me the instructions? They look to good, I don't want to miss out. Blog ya later!
Oh they look so good Erana. I would love to try them some time. I heard Mrs Jones say she made some so I think I am going to hit her up for an afternoon tea date when we are back into visiting people. Do your parents work from memory or a recipe? What measurements can you remember the recipe having? Have a great day today eating the leftovers if there are any!
ReplyDeleteErana the buns look so good. How long did it take? I wish I could eat the buns. You could share the recipe with us.
ReplyDeleteHi Erana the bun looked good. I like how you added photo of the buns and the font size and the font was very easy to read. you could put the recipe on the blog I would like to try to make it with my family.
ReplyDeleteWow - that looks amazing! The dough mixture has obviously spread larger than the bowl you originally mixed it in - do you know what causes dough to do this? I think it's the gases being released from the yeast - did you use yeast? I used to work in a bakery before I became a teacher, we used to place doughs into a special room called a 'prover' so that they could stay moist and not crack before they were baked. How did you create the swirls for the individual portions? Could you tell me what the topping is that you have added? I have so many questions because it looks amazing. I would be very happy to sample some of your delicious recipe at some time in the future! :-)
ReplyDeleteKeep up the fabulous blogging Erana.
